Only 5 min walk from South Kensington tube station and close to the museums. Nice refurbished but modestly sized room - but not quite large enough to really relax in. The bed was comfortable. Good fast wifi. At the front of the hotel there was...More
The rooms are tiny, but far worse is the air conditioning system. We had to change rooms three times before being given one that worked at all, then when we finally had A/C we learned that there was a timer which would only allow the...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

Not at all!! Whether it was 34 degrees outside or 23 degrees my room temperature remained at 31 degrees for 3 nights! I have never had 3 such uncomfortable nights sleep! I complained and they just said it was working despite me saying 3 times it was unbearable!! I had to go outside to cool down! Such a shame cos I liked most other things about the hotel but will never return unless it's freezing outside!

Hi Benjamin. It's worth head office being told I guess but whether they care enough to do anything is another matter. The more people that expose these issues within the chain, the better. Go public if you haven't already on the TripAdvisor site. You aren't the only person to have contacted me about bug problems that the Hilton just don't address properly.
