Stayed here before and had a room with a fantastic view. Visiting london for Christmas and this time not so good. Room 309 low level overlooking street. First disappointment. Second went to restaurant and had to queue to put our room in the list and sent to bar area to wait to be called back when table available- all for... More

Stayed at Grange in October for a weekend with my partner. Centrally located with easy connections to tourist attractions. A short walk to a number of eateries and bars. The staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean well proportioned including small sofa and coffee table. The bathroom had a separate shower which was good... More

For the price, (booked via lastminute.com) of £258 for 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday I consider this to be a very good hotel. The positives are a convenient location 5 minutes walk to the nearest tube and DLR, good facilities, clean, modern rooms with a very high standard of bathroom. I cannot comment on the food as we... This place looks smart as you enter and get checked-in. My executive room was modern, well furnished and clean. Wifi is strong and simple to use. I ate in the restaurant where service was slow, but the food tasty enough. Chef please note you need a dressing with the Haddock fishcakes as they are too dry on their own. There... More

Wonderful stay in this hotel, staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were fantastic and spotless, the spa and swimming area is a must - towels and robes provided. Could not recommend this hotel more. The nearest tube station is Tower Hill as the hotel is around the corner from Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

I stayed here with 4 friends at the weekend, we had three rooms. Firstly the hotel is SPOTLESS and IMMACULATE! The check in was quick and efficient. Breakfast was excellent, a great choice of food on offer. The bar again was faultless...staff friendly and helpful. The spa is clean, fresh towels etc...spot on. Only complaint was, we phoned reception from... More

I had to transfer to this hotel when my original option of Grange St Paul's was full and what a joy it was. I will certainly opt for this as my first choice in the group in future. The staff at reception were welcoming, polite and obliging. the room was beautiful with a welcome gift of fruit, wine and chocolates... More

Stayed for 2 nights. The service from check in to departure was excellent. Our room, on the second floor was quiet, decorated in neutral colors with sliding doors and a small terrace. Our tour included a breakfast in the dinning room which had hot and cold options and great service.some of our fellow travelers used the gym and reported that... More

A weekend stay in the capital for me and my wife. Not stayed at this hotel before... and we used Trip Advisor reviews as part of our selection process. By London standards the superior double room was surprisingly spacious. The hotel was clean and well-maintained... and the room had modern decor and fixtures. The bathroom was spotless and again very... More

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
