A really wonderful stay. This was our second visit and we certainly had a plea to and luxurious stay. The staff were helpful, room spotless and facilities clean and inviting. Breakfast was delicious and of a good quality. The only reason I have not given this a 5* is because after checking in and then going out again, a maid...

Stayed here during a short business trip to London. For some reason every other hotel in the vicinity was a ridiculous price for the given night, however, for some fortunate reason our corporate booking system gave a relatively reasonable rate for this place in comparison to the others. Hotel is situated in what once would have been the "badlands" of...

This is a hotel that I used before when staying in London. Whilst other hotels are perhaps better located, it is only a short walk from Tower Hill and Tower Gateway tube and DLR stations. However, the upside is modern, spacious, well-appointed rooms at a price which represents excellent value for Central London. The buffet style breakfast was good value...

Glad to come back to this hotel after a few years to find it still top notch - clean, very professional staff, family friendly. Good deal with the school holidays package got us free tickets to the tower of London. Pool great fun with the cave end with the waterfall. Watch out - children are only allowed in at certain...

We paid a high price for 2 nights expected luxury but was disappointed. Lots of Small issues let this hotel down. Very Small room, no dressing gowns left in the room, not enough lifts for the number of guests. Service at breakfast on the second stay appalling - by this I mean asked 3 different members of staff for a...

I booked this hotel through Secret Escapes for my husbands birthday as it looked lovely and I can honestly say we were not disappointed. As this hotel is a very tall hotel, I had requested if possible a high rise room with a view over London, although the hotel say they would try as honour my request, at that point...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
