Absolutely amazing hotel, we stayed for 1 night and upon booking I told them it was my partners birthday and our anniversary weekend so we got given a nicer room than we paid for with amazing views and they left a decorated chocolate desert saying 'congratulations' in our room. The room was spotless, and a very comfy bed. The swimming...

We booked a couples trip to London - doing all the usual tourist things West End, Tower Bridge, the palace etc etc. When we got to the hotel we were greeted with great customer service from the concierge who handled our bags delicately (Some just throw your items on a trolley and crash down the corridor at top speed for...

This is a odd hotel like being in a big glass office building great views and beautiful onyx and marble in the public areas the spa is also comfortable and the bedroom was cool I would come back and the location is unbeatable as its right next to St. Paul's if you fancy something different it's good but does get...

I've been for one night and I had one of my best hotel experience. The staffs were really polite. The food superb. The facilities and spa I enjoyed the only problem in my case was where to park my car...but there is a private parking close to the hotel that saved me. Apart of it...I loved.

Husband booked this hotel as a surprise we checked into 1011 and after a quick changed headed out. We returned that evening at 01.50 to be greeted by the couple in the adjoining room having extremely loud sex which kept us awake! After 4 hours sleep I was then woken up by our neighbours again because this time they had...

This was probably one of the best hotels I have been lucky enough to stay at for business. Normally I might have stayed at the Premier Inn across the road but I was attending a summit at the Grange and my boss said it made more sense to stay at the venue. I was in a big room on the...

Nice hotel; very clean. Room, etc., spotless. Stayed on floor 11, but had a great sleep besides the railway being near. Quick walk to Tower Bridge. Parking superbly only a couple of minutes away. Lunch menu is a bit limited but there's a Wetherspoons down to the right as you exit the hotel.

We stayed here for two nights (10-12 October) for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. We booked the hotel through the Last Minute Secret Hotels site so we were thrilled with the hotel for the price. It is situated in a great location, close to transport links and we had a great view of Tower Bridge and the Gherkin from our 11th...

We have just had an excellent two night weekend break at this hotel to celebrate my partners birthday. I booked it last minute on the official hotel website and I thought it was a very good rate and value for money. We were allocated a lovely room on the 12th floor which had a view of the Shard and also...

I stayed here for two nights over a weekend. While I agree the hotel is very nice, it was not really a five star experience. The hotel is well located for the city of London, however it is on a busy one way system that takes all the local traffic past the front door. I was on the 14th floor,...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
