Booked another hotel nearby but Expedia had overbooked so they sent me here instead, walking distance from Euston. Nice building on a quiet crescent. More a guest house than a hotel. Overwhelming smell of Malaysian spicy curry and canine odours in the foyer. Ground floor room was quite spacious with high ceilings, a tiny tv high up on the wall...

Stayed for one night after dinner with friends. Agree that room was small perhaps but perfectly adequate, nicely decorated, well equipped and immaculately clean. Would recommend for anyone who needs somewhere to spend the night in the area and doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg.

The Harlingford is on a crescent in Cartwright Gardens. Rates are reasonable and the property well kept up. PROS: A cat and dog are in residence. Any place with pets automatically gets a gold star from me. Both are lovely. My son and I shared a triple bedded room. Lots of space. The bathroom was really impressive. Huge full bathtub...

Having never stayed at this hotel before I decided to read some of the reviews to try and get a feel of the place. I have to say that I completely disagree with all the negative reviews stating that the staff were rude and unhelpful. My friend and I had arrived earlier than expected so we asked if we could...

As with most of the hotels in this area the (single) rooms are small but this was a marked improvement from my last hotel in the same part of Kings Cross/Camden. Located in a leafy crescent the hotel has a pleasant, small reception area. There are no lifts so be prepared to walk upstairs. My room overlooked the tennis courts...

I've stayed here several times in the last few years. It's only 5min from St Pancras. Rooms have all I need - clean, warm, comfortable beds, adequate showers. Inclusive breakfasts are standard fry-ups, speedily and cheerfully dispensed in a bright and roomy dining room. Staff are friendly and helpful. I usually stay in a standard single room - these are...

Great compact room with a single bed. Nice furnishings and decor. Spotlessly clean. Everything provided in the room that you need for a night TV and tea making facilities, Conveniently located in a nice terraced crescent. Short walk to Russel Square Tube so ideal links to the west end. Staff very polite and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Only Negatives...

Nice hotel, good location. Unfortunately we stayed in the basement room and were woken by noisy kitchen staff every morning at 06.00. emailed management who dismissed my complaint. Only stay here if you can't find anywhere else. Best part of the hotel is the dog!

I needed a last minute hotel within my work allowance that is £97 per night. It is not often that I get a decent place in a good location within budget. I was delighted with this place. I had a single room on the top floor. It was clean and basic and has a TV that works and a decent...

Oh my goodness! I am almost speechless. I can't review what it's like staying here, but I can tell you not to try to discuss anything with the front of house staff by telephone. A simple request for two adjacent rooms proved so challenging that my booking was rudely and abruptly declined. The individual declined to give her name to...

Harlingford, General Manager at Harlingford Hotel, responded to this review

On the face of it this review seems to be a sorry indictment of a hotel with poor customer service, however, you should ask one question: what did HE do to be rejected in such a way? After all, this was potentially a very good booking for a small B&B; two rooms for a couple of days would be a...
