Booked the Morgan direct & through the influence of the reviews of this site & stayed there 3oth Nov - 2nd Dec. I was not dissapointed!! The staff & John (one of the owners) are extremely friendly & happy to assist at anytime. The reason for our stay was a celebration of my mothers & sisters birthdays, we had a...

I had an overnight layover from Delhi to Boston and wanted to visit the museum. Great location as it looks out to the museum, and they allowed me to keep my bags here until leaving for the airport. There is public transport via train and or tube to Heathrow. I found many restaurants within a block or so of the...

We just returned from four nights at the Morgan. Where do I start... We had one of the suites (#243) and it was fantastic. Although this was on the 3rd floor with no lift, the staff lugged our heavy bags up and down for us upon arrival and departure. Tu even took them to the corner and hailed a taxi...

London: The Morgan. 24 Bloomsbury Street. Fantastic 21st Aug to 3rd Sept. 2007. Had a fantastic stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful as to where to get a bus and places to see. My room was a large single with sitting room, tv, hairdryer, iron & ironing board and tea & coffee facilities. I could'nt have asked for...

The Morgan Hotel is a little gem. I had a garden room at the back of the hotel and loved looking out on the trees and squirrels. The room wasn't the largest I have stayed in but it was clean, comfortable and modern. The shower had loads of lovely hot water which is always a bonus in my book. The...

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Morgan! We felt as if we were staying in someone's very lovely home in the middle of London. The owners and staff were so helpful and we couldn't have found a better hotel in London! It was evident that much care and detail is paid to every spare inch. Gleaming woodwork...

Very enjoyable stay in the heart of london. Stayed in an apartment on the 3rd floor (I travel lightly so had no trouble climbing the stairs carrying my luggage, but some travelers may find it difficult).I was happily surprised with the size and state of the apartment - for the usual price of a mediocre 2-3 star hotel, you get...

This place is great! The rooms are small, so if you can afford it, spend money on getting a suite. And be sure to book in good time, they had the "Hotel Full"-sign up as long as I stayed there! The 5 best things about this hotel: - Breakfast. They make it after you order, so everything is fresh and...

The reason I am so unhappy is that I had one of the couple of rooms right by the front door. This meant I could hear people coming in and out of the hotel late in the evening and early in the morning. I think it's not obvious that these are rooms and people didn't stop making noise until they...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
