We stayed here on a recommendation of a friend - what a gorgeous spot - such an interesting neighbourhood in easy reach of Sloane Square tube station. The hotel was a welcome relief coming in from the pouring London rain. The staff were all wonderful...More
I first stayed at Lime Tree Hotel in 1997 (when I was a teenager) on a family trip. Maybe it was just my overall great experience in London, but I still remembered this place when I finally made my next visit to London in November...More

Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw
away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.

When we were there in September for a week, we had a great complementary breakfast everyday. They were fully cooked from full English to continental what ever you wanted. The full English included bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, baked beans and toast. You could also choose any portion of that such as the toast and bacon I liked or porridge (oatmeal), yogurt etc. They also brought around a danish and croissant basket. Every morning you were brought a pot of tea or coffee. The service was fantastic! Breakfast at the Lime tree was the thing we miss most about our stay in London!
