As others have said, the Lime Tree has the feel of a B&B. We stayed there five nights in April, 2014.
Our room was at the top of the stairs on the third (in the US, fourth) floor. "Up with the angels," as the man...More
A great hotel at a reasonable price. It is not cheap but a good value for the location. There is no A/C but I travel to London mostly in the fall, winter , and spring. The breakfast is excellent. It is owned by a wonderful...More
I stayed at the Lime Tree Hotel for a week and really enjoyed my stay. Great value, gorgeous building and tastefully decorated. Room was small and there's no elevator, but the friendly staff and hearty breakfast more than made up for it. The neighborhood is...More
I stayed at the Lime Tree as a solo traveler. The hotel was in a nice, safe location with easy access to Victoria station.
The best part of this hotel was the delicious Full English breakfast. I didn't have to eat again until dinner time!...More
We spend a week in London with our granddaughter at the Lime Tree. Loved it!! Just the right combination of B&B and boutique hotel. The rooms were nice and well done - no a/c - but this is London. We highly recommend the Lime Tree....More
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw
away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.

When we were there in September for a week, we had a great complementary breakfast everyday. They were fully cooked from full English to continental what ever you wanted. The full English included bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, baked beans and toast. You could also choose any portion of that such as the toast and bacon I liked or porridge (oatmeal), yogurt etc. They also brought around a danish and croissant basket. Every morning you were brought a pot of tea or coffee. The service was fantastic! Breakfast at the Lime tree was the thing we miss most about our stay in London!
