Stayed for 2 nights while family member in local clinic. Staff were extremely helpful, hotel and rooms small but beautifully clean. Basic but beds very comfortable and excellent value for money. Had double room for I night and single for the second. Breakfast cooked to order. Wide range of local restaurants and lovely shops on Marylebone High Street.

Yes, you read that right. We've never been because we booked the hotel through booking.com, I received an email stating there was a problem with my booking. I rang the hotel last night and enquired if the reservation still stood and did I need to pay there and then or could I pay on arrival. The chap on the phone,...

There are actually 2 hotels a couple of doors apart under same management. We stayed at Regency West End. Stayed here because of its proximity to Princess Grace Hospital. Stayed twice once in a double room and once in a twin. The double room was very small though adequate, the twin more spacious. Both bathrooms were of good size. Location...

This isn't a budget price hotel and I expected a better standard. The room was very small making it very cramp - I don't know how comfortable it would be for 2 people? The decor was also very tired, not all the light bulbs worked and the toilet seat was broken. The towels were very small and not at all...

Stayed in single room on Tuesday night. Was clean, quiet and had everything I could need; hairdryer, iron, fan, tv etc. A friendly welcome when I arrived and comfortable bed. Breakfast was basic but more than ample and service was quick. Half the price of other hotels in the area and met all my needs. Will stay again if in...

Great location next to Baker Street, Downtown Books, Regent's Park; Selfridges is in 10 mins walk distance, Parliament - in 45 mins walk. Clean, quiet, and reasonable value for money. Receptionist and kitchen ladies are friendly. Yes, breakfast is boring, but is it really matters if you are in London? :-) Note: you will need the Internet access password for...

I thought the hotel was very well located on a quiet street for London and close to lots of restaurants, cafes, Madame Tussaud and Baker Street tube station..the rooms were small but clean and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was fine and the reception was pleasant and helpful. I'd go back there anytime.

Absolutely outstandingly awful hotel. Never mind how rude the staff was while I was making my bookings, the actual hotel itself is another story. Booked this hotel for business purpose, thought I would need a good night of sleep before important meeting next day. Arrived on the day and got the key and went to my room. First thing I...

Good location near Baker Street / Great Portland Street for tourism or business . The refurbished rooms have been decorated to a high standard. Ask for one of these. The 3 bed room I was given would be very suitable for a couple with a small child and there was private access to an adjoining room for a larger family....

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
