The building is like an old warehouse transformed, the elevator needs an update... Staff might be friendly but it does not take out the fact that the room was not cleaned properly and had found at our arrival a towel with lots of make up, their excuse " I had a day off yesterday" and their solution - a £10...

Dear Madam, Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear that your 1 night stay with us was disappointing. I understand your concerns about our entrance to the hotel through the lift – yes, certainly - it is unusual and rather old-fashioned, however most our guests find it very amusing and charming. Following our conversation on your...

the location is a plus, it is close to shoppings and hyde park... the breakfast in the roof garden is good…. rooms are on the small side but the service is great… no street parking around, and the only parking space was $48 for 24 hours… it's hard to find on the first time but once you learn your way,...

My friend chose this hotel for his wedding venue and it was great. Staff were excellent and service couldn't be faulted and having breakfast in bed was great. It is a bit of a quirky place as the entrance is not obvious and the receptionist comes down in the lift to collect you from the street. I stayed in Room...

Searcy's Roof Garden Rooms was a great and central place to stay in central London. It is close to Harrod's and with easy access to public transportation while the hotel is in a quiet street. We had a very nice family suite, which with an extra bed was certainly suitable for 5 people. Breakfast was wonderful and was served in...

Trip advisor comes through again. This is a clean but quirky hotel with a great location. I say quirky because there is no lobby, or true hotel entrance. You arrive on a doorstep and press a buzzer. Someone from reception comes to meet you. It took me a few tries to get the elevator figured out but once I did,...

We stayed in a room with a canopy bed overlooking Pavilion Road. Our king size bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were elegant. We were surprised at how quiet the hotel was considering that it is in the center of Knightsbridge, not far from Sloane Street and Harrods. The hotel does not have a restaurant and so breakfast was...

I am a regular traveller to London on business but on my future leisure trips this will be where I reside, location fantastic, staff - so helpful (we were offered tea on arrival and my better half was sick on the last morning and we had no problem getting an extended checkout despite the fact that the hotel was operating...

Recently stayed one night here. Great location very close to knightsbridge tube and shops. Down a back street which could put off solo female travellers. Booked 2 single rooms. Greeted by Neringa the hotel manager who is charming and helpful. However the room I was checked into - room 4- was dismal, depressing and in a bad state of repair. This...

I have just returned from a one night stay at Searcy's with a friend. We both had booked a single en suite bedroom. We were greeted extremely well by Neringa. We left our bags for our return and check in later. Neringa met us once again on our return and told us we had been allocated rooms 4 and 14....

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
