The hotel is a great value, with well appointed rooms in a wonderful pub, just mere steps from all the sights in central London, or the underground to take you elsewhere. We would recommend a stay here to our friends and family, and look forward to the possibility of our next visit! Thanks for the hospitality!

Gallery and City park visiting together with a trip to Buckingham Palace. A leisurely walk along old father Thames completed our excursion. The location in Westminster and being so close to the St James' tube station was a real bonus.

Really nice hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff and in a great location; close to the tube and some tourist attractions. We would certainly rebook if in London again. Price was acceptable for a central hotel. We spent 1 night in the Britannia Hotel in Canary Wharf but moved after the first night to be closer to attractions. This hotel was...

The noise levels from the pubs emptying bottles and kicking around the garbage bins every night and morning were unacceptable. Several nights till midnight. Would just get to sleep and the banging and kicking the bins around would begin and last at least an hour or more. Then 5-6 am the noise would start all over again.

HI Wendy V Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. I am really sorry to hear that you didn't get much sleep when you were here but I can tell you that the noise wasn't from our hotel. We have strict timings on when bins and deliveries happen but I don't have any say on what...

While there were creaky bathroom floors and I could hear every bottle dumped into the garbage dumpster on the street below (but only at midnight, when the bar/restaurant tossed the garbage out), I loved this place. You can't beat the location: Step outside and you see Westminster Cathedral (stop in for Sunday services); two minutes from the Underground (but you...

My hotel recommended the restaurant for good home cooked pub food! I was totally jet lagged and it was right around the corner. Food was quite good and for a pub had a nice wine by the glass selection. It was a perfect spot!

If you crave a more authentic hotel experience in central London, this is the place. Charming rooms, comfortable beds, a block or so from Westminster Abbey, and located over a pub-what more could you want?

Really enjoyed the stay in the hotel. Rooms were lovely and attention to detail was very good. However the pub restaurant was of a poor standard so wouldn't recommend dining there. Staff were excellent throughout.

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
