A great hostel with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Away from noisy streets and bars, but central enough for anyone wanting to explore.
It sits on three useful tube lines, has a couple takeaways and pubs close at hand. Random fact: Carter, the archeologist...More
I loved staying here! I think I got a private twin room - which meant I had a bunk bed with USB ports built into the frame (clever!) and it came with doonas and pillows. I hired a fluffy towel from them and I can't...More

I stayed here for a few nights when working in London; it was clean and pleasant. Helpful and polite staff (and I really appreciate having staff in place 24 hours a day!) and a pleasant little café. It suits me very well as I often...More

This is very good budget travel accommodation!! Wonderful staff! Very helpful and friendly! Except the black middle-aged female staff who we often saw her in the night shift is a racist to Asian. She always pulled her long face to my friend and I (but...More
I went for two nights with my daughter. There was no space to wash your face without pooring water to the floor.
Not adecuate ventilation of the room.
The staff wasn´t interested in customers needs.
Much worse than YHA at Saint Paul´s in London

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
As Vikram says, you can check in before 2pm but get the key card only at 2pm.
You can borrow the hair dryer from the reception. You give 10 pounds as deposit and get the money back when you return the hair dryer.
Thanks, already have transportation to airport to and from, I'm going on a separate tour and have to meet the tour bus at 6.15 a.m, it's only a half mile to my destination, but don't want to be walking in the early mornings... More
Thanks, already have transportation to airport to and from, I'm going on a separate tour and have to meet the tour bus at 6.15 a.m, it's only a half mile to my destination, but don't want to be walking in the early mornings, and in the dark by myself....just concerned since it was a Sunday morning and not a week day if I would have any problems...thanks again.
