A calm and pleasant hotel in the midst of a bustling city, the Grange White Hall could not be better situated for a visit to the British Museum, which is right across the back garden. Near Russell Square, it is easy walking distance from the Tube. A business hotel on the weekdays, more tourists arrive on the weekends. It has...

If you would like to pay London Hotel prices to stay on your grandmother put you up bed this is for you. I would of preferred to have spent slightly more money on a hotel room that was fit for purpose. The room was tired and dated and comprised of a pull down bed a battered desk and a chair....

Good hotel, excellent location just off Russell Square which means a lovely walk through the park and into the tube station which connects to all zones easily! 15 mins if that to Piccadilly Circus which is on the main routes. Hotel receptionist was hilarious and needs some training to stop her venting to new customers about recent customers that had...

This hotel was a real find. Really central, it backs onto the British Museum and easy walking distance of theatre land. Lovely large twin room with comfy chairs to sit in so perfect oasis to retreat to after busy day sightseeing. Great view over garden so very peaceful. Beds really comfy and large bathroom. Kettle and wide range of teas....

I was giving a conference talk at the School of Oriental and African Studies and I wanted to stay close. Finding the hotel from Russell Square was easy and stress free. They let me check-in early due to the nature of my flight. Service was excellent. I would suggest a room not facing Montague street and/or not near the elevator...

Stayed for a week. Comfortable, but small room overlooking the garden. Great bed and quiet area. Room is located in an older building with unlevel floor - it felt like we were on a cruise ship. Placed magazines under side table legs to level them so items did not fall off. Staff was reserved, but helpful went asked questions. Had...

Nice hotel with strong shower. Room was a bit warm but windows open all the way and they give you a fan. Room was very small - couldn't open up 2 big suitcases in the room without tripping over - but functional otherwise. Very quiet being behind the British Museum. 5 min walk to Russell sq tube station, Pret and...

Stayed here for two nights for a friends birthday celebration weekend. We checked in at 1pm which was great as the weather was bad! When we arrived in our room, it was very warm (no air conditioning) but the windows open wide. The bed comfortable and staff friendly. Great location as we were able to walk everywhere, and a handy...

Friendly staff, functional room (some are great some are on the slope it's it's a bit of a lottery) however don't order room service... paid a tenner for a stale sandwich and another guest got a cold carboardy pizza. Lovely outside area though, and some rooms you can climb out the window onto a balcony.
