This hotel was average and Basic, the rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. The hotel is tired, decor is tired and is nothing plush so if expecting something special then not here but it is fine and a safe and central place. Location is perfect for central London and walking about plus the hotel is next to...

I booked my stay through British Airways for a good deal, and I think it was good value for what I spent. A single room, top floor, with just the amount of comforts expected. Cleaning was slightly on the poor side - there was some litter left in the bathroom from previous guests, but otherwise clean enough. The hotel is...

Good room. Quick and efficient check in. I must say that this hotel has done some improvements since I last have been here. Wifi is available free in all rooms now and the speed is very good. The breakfast has improved a lot with a good choice of continental breakfast and a better choice of hot items. The bar has...

I arrived on a late flight into London City Airport, I rang hotel reception once landed to arrange I would be late. Easy to find, facilities where basic but sufficient for my overnight stay, I left early the next morning, and staff where helpful checking out. Would stay again if in London.

Good deal overall, book in advance for better prices, it is located on a pleasant zone with quick access to the Piccadilly tube line that will take you to the main places to visit. Good size rooms, nice staff and we got full English breakfast although we didn't pay for it. It does get a bit crowded with lots of...

A short walk from Oxford Street as this hotel's only positive feature. The linen is clean but the blankets not so much. I did not want to touch them and slept only under the sheet. the room is too hot, and the hotel employees who attend breakfast are too obtrusive. We did not get the toilet paper every day. one...

Very huge hotel with everyday cleaning services. At the time we have gone (26 Dec 16), the whole hotel was full, yet the staff were eager to help us.They were very helpful and provided us with all the information we asked. The room we took was very quiet. It is highly recommended as it is a cheap hotel in central...

This hotel is very close to Russell Square & the British Museum, there is a bus stop just outside and a metro station after a 4 minute walk. Also, there are many restaurants in the area. The room (and the toilet) was spacious enough and clean. On the other hand, the hotel gets very crowded and it is difficult to...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
