We stayed here for a weekend.
We were upgraded to an executive room. It was a little on the small size compared to some hotels but perfectly adequate. Nice bathroom and a balcony overlooking the square; free Wi-Fi; classicly decorated;

I stayed here for one night on business on what turned out to be the coldest night of the year. I was upgraded to a huge room with a lovely view of the park but was worried it might be cold as I had four...More
The one saving grace is the location, close proximity to tube station and historical sites, nestled in a quiet neighborhood. My employer paid for premium Internet service, of which there was none, mixed messages from staff about breakfast being served on the day of departure,...More
I stayed here for one night on business, January 2015. The room was small but comfortable, and the hotel is ideally located for Victoria Street. However, on going to bed, I discovered a false nail and a small patch of gum-like substance on the bed...More
Stayed here for a couple of nights on business - very impressed with staff, who were all very helpful. Loved the quiet ambience of the lounge bar and nice to relax in.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.

The area this hotel is in is one of the nicest in London. It is a straight shot down a major street to get to and from the hotel to Victoria, there shouldn't be any fears what so ever with the area. Or to be honest, London as a whole for the most part. I stayed in this area of London for quite some time the last time I was there, one night at the Grange Rochester. Was out on the street walking between Victoria and locations in this area as early as 5-6am, and as late as 1-2am. Never had a single problem, or saw anything to worry about.
I requested a bath when I booked my single and still ended up with only a shower. The hotel was full that night however, and I had booked a 'small single', so my request might have actually been impossible.
