This is an hotel you want to avoid. There is nothing at all to commend it. It is noisy; has poor service; and it attracts drunks to the bar and across its foyer and rooms. Its only redeeming feature is its location, but there are...More
Great hotel, nice rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't make it up on time. Parked easily and we were allowed to leave our car on the day we checked out to do some more sightseeing. Close to tube...More
Lovely clean hotel in a quiet road very close to tube, overground and shops. Staff are friendly and polite. Rooms are pristine, beds very comfy, although the singles are a bit narrow. Free parking very handy, although lots of double parking can cause a problem...More

You can get the Heathrow express to the central London station (cant remember which one it is) and connect by tube (subway) to Finchley Road station or vice versa, if you are fit. Or you could get the tube all the way to the centre and change to the Jubilee Line for Finchley Road tube station or vice versa. It is definitely worth getting an Oyster card for public transport as it will make travel a bit cheaper. Depends how long you will be in London for. It might be harder if you have bags and are older/disabled and you might need a taxi for the end bits. Buses also go very nearby along Finchley Road.
