My boyfriend and I travelled to London for a comedy show and a few days of sightseeing. The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect as it's just down the street from Paddington station. The room was small as expected, but was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The price we paid to stay in central London was...

I stayed at Mina House for one night on October 27th 2015. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. First impressions were that the hotel needed a lick of paint, unfortunately this impression continued to the room. The room was a reasonable size for a couple, however the carpet was stained in several places and there were many scuff marks on...

There wasn't a real reception desk, just a table with two guys behind it. This should've been the first alarm signal since it was a shady vibe. Staircase is small and there's no elevator, which wasn't that big of a deal but the room had stained carpet, holes and lots of marks on the walls, toilet ceiling has some moisture...

The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was small, and too warm, but the price isn't bad and the friendly people in reception were consistently helpful. No food on the premises, but the fellow at the desk ordered out for us one evening, and allowed use of hotel phone when one of us lost phone reception.

When I saw the bad reviews for this hotel it was too late to cancel so I was expecting a 'hovel' not a hotel. Don't know what all the fuss is about. I think people don't realise what a 2 star hotel is. I stayed in 401, top floor. Bit of a hike up the stairs so not good for...

I stayed here with my 16 year old daughter for 1 night. Thankfully we only needed it for sleeping as there was no room for anything else! Just enough room to walk around the bed if you're slim! Very basic, lumpy hard mattress and 1 flat pillow per bed. Tea & coffee with dusty cups, peeling paint and damp patches,...

Refurbished "my aunt Sally" !!! Paintwork scruffy carpets scruffy. room compact to say the least! No air, if you open the window then you get all the noise from busy road. No lift and stairs are narrow and angled so difficult to climb with a suitcase ! No offer of help with your bag either!! Definitely would not recommend!

Room was very small but size wasn't a problem for a two night stay, good location for hotel. Main problem was that I paid £149 for two nights, definitely not worth the money! all the walls were marked and it looked like someone had dotted bleach all over the red carpet, we later found ants in the en suite and...

After my 75 yr old mother had booked this hotel i was disturbed by reviews on Tripadvisor. I need not have worried, the refurbished hotel was clean, well appointed and great value for money. I shall be recommending it and will stay there again.
