Stayed at this hotel before! Was ok ! Cheap and cheerful for location. This time big let down? Booked twin room 414. 7 October 2016. For 2 nites. Someone put plastic bag over smoke detector ! Room stunk of old smoke! Biggest issue was how dirty and dusty room was! We found ,after looking under bed,we found empty crisp packet...

We paid £68 for a double room with breakfast. I was aware before booking that the rooms do not have an en-suite bathroom and to be honest it made little difference to us. The hotel decor is very dated and you could tell it was a budget hotel. But it was clean and the bed comfortable. If you need a...

The County Hotel is well situated for northern termini, British Library and British Museum. It is simple but inexpensive - a variety in central London. The desk staff are pleasant and competent. The breakfast is surprisingly good - and also lavish! A speciality is eggs with double yokes! There is a good cafe next door with home baking. We have...

This is a budget hotel.£50 a night in central London is astonishing value. The rooms are basic but impeccably clean. One bathroom shared between four rooms but I've never had to wait to use one. Thoroughly recommended.

I stayed here for a business trip as I was working away in London over the weekend. Clearly stating this was a business trip I asked for a quiet room somewhere as I needed to get plenty of sleep. Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
