We were attending an event at Hyde Park and wanted somewhere in walking distance to stay. The hotel is fairly basic and a tiny bit tired inside but it was clean, safe, comfy and quiet so just what we needed. Interaction with staff was easy and polite. For those who want excellent finishes and a bit of luxury, look elsewhere....

Top hotel at very reasonable price, clean well service room excellent large breakfast, easy to find will be using this one again next time my company requires over night accommodation in London around the Wembley area, might be a little difficult if there was a large event on at the stadium

I am lucky enough to travel to different countries on holiday and I can safely say that this was one of the worst 4-stars hotel of my life. We were placed in room number 9. This room was badly in need of a good clean! The room had stains and damp on the walls. Net curtains and carpet were dirty...

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel on a recent family trip. The room was quite roomy for London and the beds were very comfortable. The room was clean and everything was well attended to. The fixtures in the shower were old, showing a little bit of wear and tear but overall everything was well maintained. The hotel is centrally located...

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel overnight and was a huge disappointment. I would suggest that you read more than half a dozen reviews . Initial reviews marked this as a good 4 Star Hotel. It should be recognised as a 2/3. Sloppy greeting when booking in . When handed our keys we were warned to keep them...

I stayed here for one night for business purposes - the room I stayed in (9) was very clean and the room was spacious. It was very quiet - I had a great nights sleep. The staff were very friendly and professional. The location was perfect! I cannot comment on breakfast as did not have it but if I need...

Although not outstanding from outside, the interior will not disappoint. Tthis hotel is well placed for visiting Wembley. The only hotel my partner has ever walking into the bedroom of and said "wow". There are even TVs in the bathroom. Don't miss out on walking down Wembley Way in the evening when the stadium is spectacular.

The rooms are mostly three-star at best (even though it is supposed to be a four-star hotel). Lots of shabbiness. The employees are not very motivated. I understand they have been going through an ownership change, so maybe that's why they still advertise themselves as a 4-star hotel when they are barely a 3-star hotel. I have found better alternatives...

We stayed at St. George Hotel for one night recently on a visit to London. We usually look for a deal on capital hotels but recently there have been few to be had. We grabbed the deal that came up here for a room at £109 with breakfast another £10pp The position of the hotel is very convenient for the...

lovely en suite room with FREE Wi-Fi fast enough to stream TV/music - a fantastic treat!!. Room ready before standard check-in which enabled me to explore the area without my suitcase - Oxford Street/Marble Arch/Sherlock Holmes Museum within very easy walking distance. Bed was a bit soft but that's personal preference. A little noisy with street traffic and creaky floorboards...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
