The location couldn't get much better. One stop away from Kings Cross and lots of great park areas to explore in the area. The rooms are nice and there are plenty of toilets and showers, even if your room does not come with a bathroom in the room. The food was good and the staff was very nice.

A warm welcome awaits on arrival, staff / fellow guests are friendly and place is clean. However, don't expect luxury. Accommodation is in the basic / hostel-esq category. Nothing more than the essentials in the room. Location / transport options are good - near (15-20 mins walk) to Highbury and Islington tube / overground station, Canonbury overground station and Arsenal... More

Quite & serene! The centre was nice and quiet. The property is very well maintained and quite secure. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were tastefully furnished and quite good for staying in. oh, and a fast and effective Wifi!

Rooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, conference and public rooms - all far beyond customary 'budget' quality! The bedrooms all equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and plentiful supply of both! There is 'subdued' lighting so not consigned to rather 'bleak' ceiling light! Carpets and linen immaculate and cleaned daily. Staff approachable and ever ready to help. General ambience is one of quiet,... More

My family stayed at the Highbury Centre for 5 nights in one of the family rooms. The place is great. The garden in the back is private and is suitable to reflect and relax. Wonderful breakfast, and quiet, clean rooms. Highly recommended!!!

I stayed here during a business trip and found the small, but comfortable room to be satisfactory. I was able to do work emails on the desk, hang up my wardrobe, and stretch out a bit. The conference areas are a bit dated, and breakfast wasn't fantastic (but was a lot of food), but all in all the value of... More

I wasn't in charge of accommodations for this particular trip and was somewhat concerned about it to be honest. However, I was thoroughly pleased with the Highbury Centre! Even if you don't have an ensuite room there are so many bathrooms on each floor that it's not a problem and the bathrooms are IMMACULATE. The Centre is in a quiet... More

I spent three nights at the Highbury Centre. I had a single room with en-suite bathroom. The room and bathroom were small but adequate and impeccably clean. Staff are pleasant. Prices are hard to beat. There's a good breakfast and one meets interesting people at breakfast from different parts of the world. Unfortunately, though, I was there at what was... More

I've used Highbury on a few trips to London because it's such good value, close to the centre of London and easy to get to. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I don't get a room with an ensuite because they are so tiny and I've never had to... More

Although the charter specifies Christian Workers, this accommodation is also open to anyone for a slightly higher charge. [Or put it another way, there is a discount for some.] These comments are based on a Double en-suite, which we had, though we were initially able to reserve a Family Room and go on a waiting list for the en-suite. Accommodation... More

“Depending on the purpose of your trip and your exact needs, I recommend you consider passing on the in-room bathroom facilities. The bathrooms on the floor, in the hallway, are incredibly clean and sufficient for all your needs. One is always very close to your room. You'll be pleasantly surprised.”
