We have now stayed twice in the last 2 months, having chosen this hotel on the basis of previous reviews, and competitive pricing for a hotel near the West End. Many reviewers have remarked on the small size of the rooms - and while I...More
I have over 300 reviews including more than 100 hotels and I only occasionally give five stars, but this hotel is perfect for what it is intended to be. I stayed in a single room that was reminiscent of some pod hotels I have visited....More

Stayed for a couple of nights and the hotel was more than adequate. The room (particularly the bathroom) was quite small but beds clean and comfortable. Would stay again, perfect for a trip on a budget.

As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an
experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

Not sure this will help and unfortunately I don't have a pic but I stayed on the same level as the lobby. I believe there was a basement level below us. The "small corridor" outside our window was literally the roof of the basement and beyond that were some trees and another building. It was not unpleasant at all. I opened the window a couple of evenings for the breeze. I did not find it to be hospital-like either.
