I cannot recommend this boutique hotel enough. Wonderful location in a very cool building. The staff went above and beyond to make our week stay in London lovely. The room was spacious and clean. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! :)

The hotel comprises an entrance a small dining room and guest bedrooms. The location was good being 5 minutes walk from Gloucester Road Underground. It wouldn't suite guests with disabilities as there are steps to enter the hotel and (depending on your room location) flights of stairs to manage. We were on the third floor, the lift served the first...

Nice to have a smart clean room in London that has a door to an internal balcony that can be safely left open for fresh air. The staff we met were charming and helpful. Although there isn't a kitchen, the breakfast was more than adequate with very good coffee.

The rooms are ok, slightly small maybe, but clean. The breakfast is awful and expensive with much better alternatives 5 minutes away be foot, so just don't bother. Wifi is free and it works. The location is nice, across the street from Natural History museum and 5 minute walk from 2 subway stastions.

4 of us met up at the hotel. Whilst we had rooms on the lower ground floor there was natural light available. The rooms were very comfortable and lacking nothing. The Science Museum just short walk away and the Albert Hall also. This was the focus of the visit, Cirque de Soleil, we were not disappointed. Continental breakfast was served...

Nice stay. Stayed one night. Decent sized rooms, very clean. Very convenient to museums, and the Albert Hall. Worked well as last night before catching the Tube to Heathrow. Would recommend to a friend.

The hotel was lovely, nice and clean with a relaxing decor style. The staff were friendly and helpful. One huge benefit was the location, just across the road from the Science Museum and Natural History Museum. We had our 6 year old son with us and we all enjoyed the stay. Do check when booking that your room can accommodate...

I stayed 3 nights here while in London. The location is fantastic, right across the street from the Natural History Museum and a few blocks from Kensington Gardens. It's a small hotel, which is typical, but my room was a good size with a wonderful view. It was very quiet and I appreciated the comfy bed, the Nespresso machine and...

Arrived at hotel in the evening with 2 kids in tow. To be told by duty manager the deluxe twin room booked is not suitable. And an upgrade is not possible but we had to book another room for the kids. So we offered to pay for sofa bed and addition people in the room so we can just check...

A one night stay for a work do at the Science Museum. Perfect location and nicely appointed rooms. Room 4 was massive and very quiet as downstairs and away from the road. Nice hotel with home away from home feel and nicely decorated. Decent continental breakfast. Would have given it a 5 but the wifi wasn't working for my stay!

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
