Popped in for a few sips on Thursday open mic night. Not the best open mic night ever but open mic is hit and miss anyway. Nice friendly staff and a few nice pints too! Pool table was always busy and the customers were friendly.

If you like watching football with the sound down whilst drinking a very average mainstream lager or bitter give it a go. If you are expecting anything 'Maiden' other than artwork don't bother. Friendly, drunken scousers propping up the bar was the only plus side!

Staff was friendly, room was ok, sleeping comfort average. The shared bathroom was mostly clean, depending on the other people who stayed overnight. Depending on the room you feel the passing trains (bed is shaking) The Pub was a nice place to drink a beer, eat or listen to the fantastic live-music.

Two minutes research would have revealed that the birthplace of Iron Maiden was a particularly bad place to stay the Saturday night before a 100 mile bike ride starting from the Olympic park the next day. It is on a busy road with heavy traffic most of the night, there is a trainline on one side and there is live...

Food was great....loved it....I was there with my family and we had some nice tapas to share and some main dishes. I will definitely eat there again. The location is great close to Stratford for shopping at Westfield's, and very friendly staff.

OK, we stumbled on this bar after our booked "hotel" was so awful we had to move, and found out there were rooms here. We told Sharon, the bartender we wanted to stay, and she accomodated us for 6 days, even though she had to change our rooms 3 times! Which they did wonderfully and even found a purse I...
