On arrival, the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Our twin room was on the top floor (about 4 floors up with steep stairs) so maybe not so good for people with mobility problems? The room was beautifully clean and looked like it had recently...More

We've just returned from a 5 day stay at this hotel. After reading past reviews we were worried but basing our thoughts on staying at other hotels with bad reviews, we decided to make our own judgment.

Two years later I'm still scarred by this dump! We (over)paid for four nights. Non-refundable, so glad we left after one night. Blood stains on my towel, just to name one issue. I absolutely loved London and had the best time there (aside from this nightmare experience), but I have to question if there's any health standards that need to be met. Am I ok to have a chook pen in London and then chuck a used mattress from a murder scene in there and then rent it out (non-refundable) to unexpected tourists?
The only positive I can see about this rat-hole dump was that we didn't end up like the majority of the characters in the movie "Hostel".
