We needed a base (a place to sleep) in Pimlico for a one night stay - the Lidos was great. Welcoming staff, comfortable room clean and quiet. we didn't expect acres of space in central London but it was fine for us and the price...More
The location was good as quite near Pimlico station. We booked double rooms even though the stay was just for me and my son; it was just as well I did because even the doubles are not very big. Try and get rooms at the...More

Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and
some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
