I found this hotel by chance, but what a find. The hotel,is located about a 5 minute walk from Victoria street in a lovely quiet part of town, however if you walk 10 minutes you are at all the sites at Westminster then in the other direction you are at Victoria Station. The staff were very helpful and professional, especially...

I was in this Hotel a week at the beginning of January. Staff was very on hand to help us and welcoming. The room was comfortable and the bathroom really fantastic with bath tube, slippers and towels were provided. Coffee and tea service are inside the wardrobe and I really appreciate a cup of hot tea when I came back...

Fantastic location for sightseeing in central London. Lovely green space in front of hotel with low traffic noise for a good nights sleep. Friendly staff at Reception and at breakfast. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean as was the ensuite. We pre ordered a cooked English breakfast which didn't disappoint. Have nothing bad at all to say about this...

I've stayed at this hotel before and that visit was excellent and I couldn't fault it. I stayed for one night on this occasion with my partner and I have to say it was an extremely disappointing experience. On arrival we left our bags with the receptionist to put them in our room. That person then left our bags completely...

Stayed here for four nights, three for business and one for leisure. Beautifully decorated rooms, decent food for the price and helpful staff. Five minutes from Victoria Station, you can't ask for more at the price

I stayed here for 3 nights in the first week in January when things were still quiet in that post Christmas period. The hotel is beautiful from the outside - looks just like a Victorian residence with a courtyard in from that you can imagine the coach and horses in. Check-in was easy and friendly and the reception area was...

We are extremely pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you appreciated the décor and furnishings, location and breakfast. The Grange Wellington Hotel is actually a converted Edwardian Theology College. During the restoration process Grange Hotels elected to retain and restore many of its original features including windows and fireplaces providing unique character. The main conference rooms...

Stayed here just before Christmas and didn't really have any faults! Lovely old building in a quiet square in Westminster. The staff were friendly, rooms were nice and had everything we needed and the location was great too! I would stay here again.

Love this hotel. Comfortable, great staff and the cheapest food and beverage in London. Always enjoy it and ask our agents to book it. It's quiet, easy to get to from Victoria and the staff are I impeccably trained, really good attention to detail and engagement with the customers.

I stay here for business - I have been to quite a few hotels around and recon that this is probably the best value for money in that area. Nothing unique about it, but nice rooms, OK service, decent breakfast and not overly expensive, which is better than most hotels around Victoria (or in London for that matter). Certainly my...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
