Found this through tripadvisor. this is right off Kings cross station, but in a good area. The breakfast is nice and adequate and did i mention this is cheap for London. The rooms are tiny, but are clean :)

I was a few times in London, but this time I've came with my friends and we were very suprised. This hotel is near Kings Cross Station, rooms are small, but they've got charming, English climate. They serve a tasty English breakfast every day. And staff is polite and helpful all the time. My advice if you want to spend...

I usually stay at another hotel in the same street which didn't have a vacancy. This was my second choice but will now be my first. I had a single room neat as a pin, immaculately clean, well arranged, loads of storage space, nice window view of the little park, small but clean and sparkling bathroom. Good bed, spare pillow...

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel at the end of Aug 2010 for 2 nights. It was really quite cosy and everything from the room to the bathroom (which was a shared one) was really quite clean. They serve full English breakfast with juice and coffee / tea which was included in the price. However you can ask...

Nice b&b in the heart of London. My single room was small but comfy, friendly and more than adequate for a London tourist visit, It had loads of hooks and shelves in the bathroom for towels and hygiene items. Compared to some hotels costing several times the price, it was well appointed and spacious. The reception staff were very friendly....

We stayed for one night prior to catching the early Eurostar. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. Good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My sister in law and I came to London for 6 nights with our two young daughters (who were attending Summer School at Sylvia Youngs Performing Arts) and stayed in the quad room which consisted of a double bed and bunk beds. First impressions were that the room was a bit poky and badly in need of redecoration, the furniture...

The number one reason to stay at this hotel is the location. It is literally steps away from Kings Cross Underground Station. This fact alone makes Hotel Meridiana worth a stay. We stayed there for five nights. It was our first trip to London, and the hotel and its staff made the experience a pleasant one. The rooms are very...

My husband and I started our 3 week trip in Europe at this hotel and were very pleased with it. Anyone we spoke to at the front desk was helpful and breakfast in the morning was tasty. Our room was comfortable and small but not too small because we had room for our two huge suitcases and were still able...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Meridiana for our first visit to London and were completely impressed. We are self admitted budget travelers so the small room lack of luxury amenities were expected. That being said, this hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. With the train station and tube station extremely close by this hotel made the trip...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
