Well I didn't actively dislike this hotel, but I certainly didn't love it. Inside it is rather dated and drab and the rooms are kind of ordinary and on the cheap side in terms of fittings and fixtures. The carpets are awful. The hotel has no lift and the stairs would be a challenge to some. The stairs to the...

An amazing location. A bit small if travelling with a lot of bags, and the stairs might be rough on older guests. The room was very clean and pleasant though, and pimlico is a very convenient base for visiting London.

I use this regularly when visiting customers and the office in London. It is a bit tired and in need of renovation which is occurring at the moment. However, it is clean, the staff are excellent and they serve up a good English breakfast.

Exactly what I thought it was. Fairly cheap, rooms not very big but not small either, great location. Nothing more nor nothing less than I expected. Overall really good place. My room was located at basement level and was very quiet at night. I can definitely recommend the place!

100% not worth half the 180 pounds paid for this hotel. Was disgusted with the room, it was filthy, smelly and had many hazards and that was in the second room we were moved to due to the smell and state of the first room, no hot water in first room either. Extremely dangerous plug socket in the second room and...

Best thing about this place is the location. In a very good and safe area. Were able to walk to Victoria for pubs/restaurant/theatre and even walked to Westminster easily via Buckingham Palace. Bad stuff...found it very unclean and room very small. Yes, its cheap but best spend a little extra to get better! Lesson learned! Window was broken, floor carpet...

Just stayed for the one night thank goodness as a base camp and sleep station. The location is excellent as its walking distance to all the touristy stuff and with that in mind this hotel should give themselves a shake. Small room with clean bed linen and thats it! The rest of the room was shocking...dusty dirty and needed a...

The hotel was nice, but anyhow I was expecting more looking at the pictures; the room is very small and little dated, but enough if you are here just for a short stay. The stairs are narrow and there is no elevator, which makes quite tricky to go to the last floors if you have large luggage. Comfy bed and...

I pre-booked weeks in advance because I particularly wanted a quiet room and I ask the hotel to confirm this request. When I booked in I had been given a first floor room fronting on to the busy road ,so was kept awake all night by traffic. The hotel it's self is very tatty: marks on walls, threadbare carpets, stained...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
