I pre-booked weeks in advance because I particularly wanted a quiet room and I ask the hotel to confirm this request. When I booked in I had been given a first floor room fronting on to the busy road ,so was kept awake all night by traffic. The hotel it's self is very tatty: marks on walls, threadbare carpets, stained...

Haaaa.... where to start!!! There is some really good things about this hotel: location is one, very close to Pimlico station and not far, walking distance to Victoria Station. From the hotel you can discover many pubs and you are a walking distance to the river Thames and not far from Tate Britain museum. All the people we dealt with...

I stayed here for 2 nights, for work. It's in a good location close to Pimlico and was well priced. The room was small and basic, but I slept well and the breakfast (included for free) was delicious. Banged my head a few times on the shelf which is built into the headboard, but otherwise I would thoroughly recommend

A cheap hotel in a good location ,underground is 5 min away and some really good restaurants just 10 minutes away or so. The down part was the fact that they gave a room on the 5th floor and there was no lift, going up that staircase was a nightmare with luggage, the room was fairly clean but the wall...

For the price we paid we could get better hotel. Very old building, no lift so you have to claim all that stairs to get to your room. You have to get prepared to take your luggage up to 4th floor. Room was quite basic, bathroom very small.

Stayed one night as it was conveniently located and much cheaper than anything else around. The double room was tight. The bed and towelling were clean and fresh. Two issues: we were in a room at the front overlooking the street. Noise during the night was significant and the sound Insulation was very poor. Once if figured out how to...

For the price I paid for my room, I certainly got a bargain. Very clean room and private bathroom. TV and coffee making facilities in the room. However, what made the stay astounding was the breakfast. Both full English and continental of a high quality. With lovely waiting staff. I highly recommend

I stayed here for one night only in feb 2017. Used as a stop off as i needed an early departure from nearby victoria coach station. Well situated and very cheap- only £40 for a single room- in comparison to other nearby hotels. However, reception and rooms are in two separate buildings, one bulb not working in room, plus shaving...

The room was extremely small, single bed however clean and it had everything - hair drier, good set of towels and semi-comfortable bed. I kept waking up during the night thou due to the noises around, the shower glass partition gave me a hard time as well. The worse for me was that there was no elevator and I had...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for posting the review. I am happy to inform you that we are refurbishing bathrooms at the moment and refreshing bedrooms at St Georges. Unfortunately we do not have a lift in the building but we are always happy to help with the luggage. Thank you very much.

This was my first trip to London but this hotel was exactly what I wanted to experience. Charming, polite staff, typical English breakfast included every day! I was very happy with my stay and...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
