I stayed in the Grand Plaza for an average of around 3 nights per week for the last 12 months whilst working on a project in central London. I stayed in many of the rooms usually 4 person (double bed and sofa bed). All the apartments seemed to be uniquely shaped - usually consisting of a kitchen/diner/lounge and a bedroom...

The 2 bed apartment on the lower ground floor was very small. You could maybe swing a kitten...but not a full grown cat. Also, my bedroom must have been directly under a store room or kitchen as from 7am it sounded as though there was a catwalk event going on upstairs. When I mentioned this on check out through bleary...

Found these apartments very nice (bit small) but otherwise great . Very clean and perfect location. Especially liked the fact it had coffee tea milk so you could have refreshment on arrival and also dishwasher tablets liquid and sponge to clean up . No need to purchase large packet of these items for a 2 night stay .

(+) a friend recommended me this place and i couldn't thanked him enough! great place to stay - we booked for 8 nights but had to leave a night earlier, what a shame! wish we could stay longer. we were booked in 2 bedrooms apartment, and though it is quite tiny for an apartment they basically have things that you...

I arrived with my 15yo daughter at the hotel and finally given a executive studio with two relatively big beds (Good!). Room was spacious, wifi average, quality overall acceptable. I am used to carry my laptop with me and that was the case at that time. I checked the lock of the room and it looked relatively solid. I thought...

I was there with 8 of my family members Dec 2016. Advantages. - Location is good. 15 minutes away from Oxford St. - They serve Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai for breakfast! - Convenient as it is easy to move around - Staff upfront were quite helpful Disadvantages. - Room for 3 person was a bit too small, but considering...

We stayed here over New Years for 5 nights in a 3-bed apartment. The apartment is Tiny. The kitchen and living space is not adequate for 5 people and the bedrooms small as well. This was an expensive apartment that was not worth the money and would be the worst placed we have stayed in London. The service at reception...

Great location, very convenient and easy to move around the city and also very close to Notting Hill and Portobello Markets. Only downside was that the additional guest beds (outside the master bedroom) being sofa beds, were slightly uncomfortable. Other than that, a very pleasant stay, apartment was very clean and decent sized.

Writing this from our room 'under the kitchen' having been rudely woken up at 7am by what can only be described as a herd of elephants stampeding above us as well as an assorted orchestra of machine noise. Not the relaxing weekend stay we were expecting. When we arrived we questioned the noise but we're not offered any alternative. Don't...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Grand Plaza apartments give you the independence and catering flexibility of your own home together with the comfort and service of a 4* hotel. Think of us as your home, but with cleaning, catering, porters and reception staff thrown in. Serviced apartments are the new direction for the hotel industry. They provide a ready made home rather than a ready made room. Each apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen. You choose whether to enjoy your own home cooking or try the Grand Plaza Breakfast or visit one of the myriad of restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel (or heat up a takeaway!) Grand Plaza is the largest Hotel/Apartment complex in Bayswater. We won the 2009 award for best serviced apartments in London as a result of votes from the readers of Business Destinations Magazine. We accommodate more people each day (tourist, leisure, romantic and business) than any other Serviced Apartment Hotel in the area.We are located in the centre of the West End overlooking the precise type of garden square which Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts climbed into in the Golden Globe nominated film, Notting Hill! We look forward to providing you with a home in central London. ... more   less
