I had no other choice but to stay at this hotel on my way to Cambridge as I was staying in London for less than 24 hours. To me, the location is what mattered most as it is right in front of King's Cross station. The front desk staff are very friendly. And that's about it. My room was in...

Stayed here once before in October and had a great room. Came back and stayed again for 4 nights in March. Reception stuff very helpful and friendly. Hotel safe and secure, I was a lone traveller but I never felt unsafe here. Rooms were heated which was nice to come back to after being out in the cold. Couldn't ask...

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in March. Its location was very convenient for me since I arrived at King's Cross which is just a few hundred yards away. Also much of my time in London was spent in the British Library which was about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and the...

One night stay for a gig in Camden. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Arrived to a cheerful and genuinely engaging greeting at reception. The waitress at breakfast was always smiling and extremely polite. Breakfast was good and served promptly. The room was very clean with a good bed and a modern TV. All in all good value considering the prices...

For the casual traveller, this hotel is in a very good location, being in close proximity to Kings Cross / St Pancras International rail stations – just a couple of hundred metres or so away – and London’s transport system (Tube, buses, taxi rank etc.) within short walking distance. Meaning simple access to all of London, but don’t forget to...

It isn't new or has a great breakfast, but it is in a great location. The room is small and dated. NO lift, so you will need to haul your suitcases upstairs. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was soft. The ensuit is run down.Get the top floor otherwise you might hear the guests trampling around. The breakfast was very basic...

The hotel is in a good location for travelling North or using the Eurostar but bear in mind Kings Cross is still very much an "up and coming area". Single room on the top floor is a bit of a slog up some pretty narrow stairs but I found the room quite spacious for a single in London. Good sized...

This hotel is in a great location but thats about all it has going for it !!! Rooms very small, bathrooms even smaller with a glass transparent door so there is no privacy, we had to put a towel over the door just so we could use the toilet !! Very thin walls and ceilings as we could hear everything...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
