the hotel is located close to bakerstreet - which was a perfect location for me. the street is quite. The bedrooms are not luxury at all, they look at old but beds are fine and I really slept well - for some, the toilets are outside the room. the bathroom is always inside. Breakfast is OK. the staff is fine...

This is a very beautiful Hotel with many activities taking place. I want to especially thank three employees who were so accommodating when I was stranded because I had lost my wallet in the park. I was most certainly stranded because I had no ID, no cards, and no cash and the nearest person I knew had changed her number...

On a budget -- and let's face it, if you are looking at this as an option, you are exploring the bottom end of one's travel budget -- it's doable but you want to be careful of a few things. First of all, make sure you're very diligent about communicating, as when you arrive, it's not the easiest getting a...

Charming little hotel with excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff highly accommodating for any kind of your needs, very good breakfast cooked to order and included in the price, tea & coffee facilities in the room, three tube stations close to the hotel. Shared toilet but very clean, creaky floors. Loved it very much, anyway.

We decided to stay in London during Wimbledon...finding accomodation was nearly impossible so when we finally found a room at the Wyndham hotel we were not exactly expecting that much. As a matter of fact, the place is very well located, service is basic but perfect, rooms are neat. The only negative point: the shared bathroom (did not get that...

I needed somewhere to crash for the night close to Central London, and wasn't planning to spend much time in the room. This hotel was absolutely fine for this, and great value for the great location (5 min walk from Marylebone). But you should be aware there are no toilets in rooms (there is an adequate shower and sink) -...

This is a small hotel set in a terraced London townhouse, 3 minutes walk from Marylebone station and about 15 minutes walk from Marble Arch and Oxford Street. The hotel itself is in a quiet street, but only minutes from a range of pubs and restaurants. The hotel is best described as budget. Clean and perfectly adequate, but my room...

The place is open and a definite 'must stay'! The best thing about this place was waking up to the smell of bacon and eggs in the morning. It was just like being at home. The hotel was warm, cosy, clean and so beautifully kept. We loved our English breakfast each morning and the employees, especially Monica, were fantastic and...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
