Really clean room, very friendly and warming staff. Breakfast was nice, fab location 3 minute walk to tube station..everything you need from leisure to food is walking distant away! Definitely recommend!
Right by Earls court station which is on the piccadilly line and is a straight train to Heathrow.
Ample food to be found around the neighbourhood.
Got upgraded to a quad room even though I booked a single. Small ensuite and unusable window. Warm shower...More
I first stayed at Merlyn Court in 2005 and again the first week of September this year. It's a lovely old world sort of place and I don't think that you could find a better value anywhere in London proper. The rooms are eclectically furnished,...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
