The outside and the lobby are stunning, but the rooms need some updating. My room had some cracked tiles and missing carpet.

I had to cancel a booking made and PAID FOR 6 months prior to the visit(Oct 2004). I have been trying to get my money back since September but they always argue: they either have not got the proper CC number(of course it has changed since the booking was made), or they need my postal address, or the person in... Yes it is a bit out of the way (in Cricklewood) but that is actually one of the positives of Victorian London. It is in a quiet safe neighborhood. However we were placed in the smallest of rooms and the shared toilet was certainly not expected based on their website information. In reality there is only one room with a... More

We stayed at Victorian London for 4 nights in November -03. The place is quite peculiar: No locks on the doors to the rooms (the owner said that they only had "good people" staying at their "hotel", but it made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Nothing happened, though). You feel like you're staying in someones's home, not at a hotel.... More
