When searching for a hotel for five people at short notice, unfortunately the Travel Inn (not to be confused with any hotels with similar names) was the only hotel left in the area with enough affordable rooms. I didn't expect it to be a palace for the low price, but I did expect it to be clean and safe. Unfortunately...

Rough area, poor quality hotel, friendly staff the only redeeming feature. The reception looks like a minicab reception, no decoration has taken place here for what looks like over 20 years. Dirty walls, no pictures and threadbare carpets and bits of unskilled repairs throughout. Paid £75 to stay plus £5 parking (with risk of being blocked in) but would rather...

If you have children, don't stay here. If you are a woman or group of women, do not stay here. If you want to sleep, do not stay here. If you want breakfast, do not stay here. If you want a clean room, do not stay here. If you want a hot shower, do not stay here. If you want...

I have stayed in thousands of hotels from the majestic to the basic budget hotels and this is by far the very worst hotel I have experienced!!! The general upkeep is poor, shabby, dirty and stained carpets to the walk ways, paintwork old and chipped, it didn't give me hope as my wife's and four children walked to our family...

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. However, the hotel was of very poor standard. Room smelt of stale smoke. Carpets filthy. Fixtures falling off the wall. Exposed wires in the corridors. Very noisy all night. Not a pleasant stay at all.

The hotel themselves assured me not to be concerned about reviews of the hotel, i forewarn you NOT to book this hotel..as a mother with a young child i foolishly booked thinking it was a great deal. On entering the hotel and being showed to the room all appeared ok, even though room and building was very badly maintained. On...

I don't mind a budget hotel and all I really want on an overnight stay is somewhere cheap and convenient. Somewhere safe where I can sleep. Not somewhere where there are loads of men hanging around all night, sitting outside my basement bedroom window talking, swearing and fighting. What kind of a place is busier in the middle of the...
