Booked the hotel for a weekend away, to find that the area is somewhere I'd not visit again. When booking in at reception the woman was not welcoming and was rather blunt. No 'enjoy your stay' When walking into the room we book, it was supposed to be a king size bed, which turned out to be a double bed...

Hotel looks nice in the photographs and to be fair the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. However, the area is not great and buildings nearby pretty run down. The breakfast was pretty poor and with just a few small changes could be so much better i.e. fresh milk, a pot of tea instead of 1 single cup and UHT...

I wish I could give 3,5 rate, as 3 still feels a bit low. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and the first impression was not the greatest - we had bad luck with the receptionist, but the design of the hotel impressed me. It looks nice and modern, but the functionality is not the best, with the...

The hotel is small, but the room was modern and actually very nice. I had a bit of trouble finding it from E. Aldgate subway, but that's down to me probably ! Good location for central London too. Be aware that the hotel doesn't have a bar and there are notices up forbidding alcohol on the premises. I can't comment...

This is a great hotel. Nice rooms, good service and, for the purpose of my visit a great location. I visit London for work quite a bit and am constrained by budget. I am so frustrated at having paid for a night what I could pay for a weekend up north, only to find sparse room and tired furnishing &...

Hotel is at a good location near o station etc, but beyond that it doesn't offer anything. House Keeping never cleaned my room properly or refill the water or toiletries. The receptions staff don't like to talk to you (except one guy who is warm n good.) I would take something else if available for the same price.

Wish I had paid attention to all the bad reviews about this hotel. The surrounding area is not nice My wife felt quite unsafe at night. Our room was supposed to be a premier room, I hate to think how what a basic room must be like. It was so small we could not both walk around at the same...

Hi stayed here for 1night as working on the area we was in a 1 bedroom apartment with a big bed n sofa bed.very clean and tidy and very well set out. I was impressed as this cost us £44 extra than a hotel room. Hotel in a bit of a deprived area but the blind beggars up the road...

I’ve stayed at The Whitechapel hotel a few times now on business & leisure & each stay has suited my needs. The main reason is price & location, at around £80-£100 per night & location is within a few minutes walk of either Whitechapel or Aldgate East tubes, there are a couple of NCP car parks that I use to...

This hotel surprised me in a very pleasant way. It's cosy and very well kept, clean and staff friendly. I only stayed for a couple of nights but I enjoyed every moment of it. The only downside I could find was staying in a room with sink. It reminded me of most hotel rooms in Paris. I recommend it if...
