We have just spent two nights in absolute luxury at the Wellesley. We cannot recommend this hotel more highly, it is perfectly elegant and charming, with the very best in hotel standards and amenities. They have the most welcoming team and service beyond our expectations. We've stayed in some top hotels in London and around the world and this is...

Our family of 3 spent 5 nights at this lovely hotel. We booked thru visa signature luxury hotels into an executive room and were promptly upgraded to one with a view of Hyde Park. The room was very lovely although a bit small, very well appointed. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous with a great rain shower. The customer service was...

My wife and I often treat ourselves to a stay in a top class hotel, we tried to book The Wellesley again but sadly it was fully booked. Due to our replacement hotel closing bars early we decided to venture over for a drink, we have not stayed here for a year. We walk in and the Head man Pasquale...

The hotel is very smart with the dark wood entrance and low light so as to request you should lower your voice walking in a sanctuary. London has loads of these hotels from another era. The afternoon tea salon at the far end is a small room white walls and impeccable white table cloth. Sandwiches and pastry are worth coming...

We had afternoon tea here on new year's day. Unlike many places the afternoon tea is served in a tea room not the lobby and it was really lovely. There was live music from the grand piano in the corner. There weren't many people there but the atmosphere was still very pleasant. We had lovely sandwiches...quite a variety and they...

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for a mini break in December. We couldn't fault anything. I have stayed in a lot of hotels with the work I do and this one is one of the best. The location was perfect for the Winter Wonderland. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We will be going back next year for...

If it were not for one member of staff, this would have received five stars easily. We took my father-in-law for afternoon tea and we all agreed that we had possibly the best sandwiches of any hotel. The waiting staff could not have been more attentive or professional, it really was five star service. Sadly, the maître d' was not...

From arrival in a taxi to our departure, the level of service was immaculate. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite (room 107) which was just sheer luxury, great lighting, robes, slippers, great lighting options, entertainment, a full marbled bathroom with fantastic roll top bath and underfloor heating. Quality of all the fixtures and fittings were top drawer. First...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
London's finest boutique-grand hotel, The Wellesley offer contemporary luxury, Art Deco glamour and uncompromising service in London's Knightsbridge. Each of the 36 suites and bedrooms is individually finished with sumptuous décor and amenities. The jewel in the crown is The Wellesley Penthouse, overlooking Hyde Park, which occupies the entire sixth and seventh floors. The Jazz Lounge echoes to the spirit of Cleo Laine, Amy Winehouse, George Melly, Mica Paris - legends who have graced this building in its past years. The Crystal Bar and Oval Restaurant celebrate the 1920s glamour and style. The elegance of the décor, the sounds and the ambience may recall another era. The warmth of the service, however, is beyond compare. It is based only on our own aspiration - which is to exceed your every experience. ... more   less
