Long term stay in London (3 weeks) found this to be an excellent hotel for the price. Staff are very friendly and helpful in both reception area, housekeeping and dining areas and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel more than met our expectations - was very clean and beds comfortable. Free wifi, air conditioning and tea/coffee making facilities. A... More

room was very clean, great water pressure(which i like), nice view of side street, very quiet at night, front of house were great, friendly and helpful, breakfast was spot on, nice meal to start the day of sight seeing, we chose the hotel based on its perfect location right next to hyde park and 2 mins from Tube station, but... Elysee Hotel, London Our Baltic cruise ended in Stockholm, Sweden. A BA flight and we were in London for the UK leg of our trip. This was due to be a three-night stay at the Elysee Hotel at Hyde Park before going by train to Scotland. However, fate intervened and we ended up with an unexpected six-night stay. Once again... 3 nights visit to London. We wanted a decent hotel with fairly central location and the hotel met our expectations. Good service at the front desk, room made on daily basis including clean towels. The only negatives were small rooms and disappointing breakfast.

location was great, close to the tube station and central. Staff was good and helpful. Breakfast wasn't good, coffee was bad. Rooms are small and hard to move when you are 2 in the room. Bathroom was small and the pressure of the shower was so low.

This is a older hotel and you can tell. We had a family room for 4 people. The room was very small which we were exoecting for London. The beds were clean but the rest of the room was gross. It was very dusty and the carpet was very dirty and loose on the floor. The breakfast was decent but... More

Good location. The price and room sizes are as you would expect for London. The rooms have everything you need though. The staff were friendly but could be a little more helpful sometimes. The reception is 24 hour. The breakfast is excellent value (£5 for a full English buffet). Free wifi

This hotel is ideally placed for events in Hyde Park which is why we chose it. V close to Lancaster Gate tube station. The hotel is on a quiet side street away from traffic. They have obviously been doing a lot of work and the building was shrouded in scaffolding when we visited. Reception was friendly and helpful. The room... More

I stayed at this hotel because it was close to Paddington mainline station and the central underground line from Liverpool Street station. A typical average London basic hotel, it served it's purpose as far as I was concerned. I found the reception staff to be particularly helpful. The hotel itself was reasonably comfortable and clean, and breakfast what I expected.... More
