Horrendous. Firstly my bed is literally made of ply wood and batton. The sheets are dirty, there was a tissue and half eaten biscuit under the bed alongside rubbish under the other bed. The room was FREEZING, with the only source of heat being a storage heater (not PAT tested I may add..) if you lay on the left side...

Owned by Kings Cross Hotels who have a lovely group of hotels literally 5 mins walking distance from the St Pancras/Kings Cross station. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were big and really clean. So much space for things and a nice tv. A lovely green outside for picnics and a tennis court. Only negative - no breakfast...

I stayed here on Tuesday night. The pictures on the website are of the reception of another hotel, probably owned by the same people, which is where you collect your key from. The bed was clean and the location is very handy for Kings Cross. Other than that, I have nothing good to say. The service, cleanliness and facilities are,...

I've awarded Albion House a rating of 2, however, if the room was clean I would've happily awarded this hotel 3 or 4! Good Points- Brilliant Location (4-5 min walk to Tube) Quiet Area. The staff were very accommodating on arrival. We turned up a little early and we were told that our room would be ready very soon and...

I was quite late checking in, which I admit was my own fault, however, when I got there I was told that my card "was not authorised" and so my room had been taken by someone else. This left me, at late at night, with no accommodation. I ended up paying 5x the price in a local hotel using the...

Awful basement room with a small window . One bed had definitely not been changed after previous guests as they were dirty and had hairs inside the bed sheets.Basically I would not recommend to stay .

Bed sheets were dirty and there were holes in them. I'm pretty sure they weren't changed in between occupant because there were a lot of short black hairs on one pillow and I have long blond hair. Little hospitality (it says free breakfast but nobody mentioned where the restaurant was?) and my room had everything in it to make tea...except...

Room was small but comfortable and had the basics. My mum and I had booked a twin room. Beds were comfortable and appeared clean. The worst thing was the bathroom - the washbasin was dirty, it hadn't been cleaned from previous occupant(s) and the toilet was dirty around the toilet seat, splash back/tiles around the washbasin were also dirty. No...

We stayed at the Albion House on the weekend of 10th March. It took a while to check-in, but not too bad. We knew it wasn't expensive so we weren't expecting much... When we got to the room, we were shocked at how small it was. The pictures must be of their best rooms - ours was no more than...

Upon arrival we were informed that our room had been rent out to another guest, since we arrived after 12 pm. This despite that we had informed the hotel about out late arrival and the fact that they have 24 hours reception. The reason was, they told us, that they hadn't been able to charge our card before arrival. Though...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
