The entrance hall was very nice. Although the whole place smelt musky! We were told that the price we'd payed in advance was not enough and they could not accommodate us for the room we had booked. The staff were both very polite but the rooms we were shown both had badly stained bed bases on show. There were unclean...

I spent four days in this facility this past April. The location was very good, the price was right and the studio had all the right appliances. The area is convenient to both Earls Court and Gloucester Road tube stations and groceries are just around the corner from each station. The area is quiet, for london, and there are numerous...

Decent place in the middle of London. Not to far from the tube station and easily accessible. Poor ventilation in the summer. Make sure that you are guranteed airconditioning and fans otherwise you would have a very difficult time sleeping or concentrating on anything with all the noise when your windows are opened. Probably a better place to stay when...

Filthy floors throughout.kitchen area if that's what they are calling it is disgusting. Location is the only thing going for it, all the rooms need gutting and re doing.Damp old curtains wooden Windows full of mold. Carpet on stairs falling off and is a massive trip hazard. I expect at least clean rooms even if they are basic cleanliness is...

To start, the room was covered in ants. Everywhere and hundred of them, it was disgusting. It was advertised as an apartment yet it was a tiny studio apartment. That was the least of our worries. We didn't have towels until day 3 although we asked any times, we had to go and buy our own towels in the end....

I was travelling to London for a concert with a friend & saw these apartments online & was impressed. I booked and paid for it in advance. When we arrived I was told that there was a 'problem' & there was no room available - we would have to go to a different property and stay there. I was disgusted...

Left after 5minutes and booked Premier Inn across the road for a cheaper price! Words do not describe how disgusting this place is, do NOT believe their pictures. Room was filled with old junk, broken furniture, litter everywhere at entrance, shower and toilet absolutely disgusting and filthy. Windows don't open and blinds couldn't be raised so trapped in a dark...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
