If you are looking for luxury ...this is not for you. If you want a good base to tour ... a place to sleep and basic accommodation this will be ok. There was three of us on a sight seeing tour ,we needed a base to lay our heads at night . There was a kettle , no cooker or...

To start, the room was covered in ants. Everywhere and hundred of them, it was disgusting. It was advertised as an apartment yet it was a tiny studio apartment. That was the least of our worries. We didn't have towels until day 3 although we asked any times, we had to go and buy our own towels in the end....

I was travelling to London for a concert with a friend & saw these apartments online & was impressed. I booked and paid for it in advance. When we arrived I was told that there was a 'problem' & there was no room available - we would have to go to a different property and stay there. I was disgusted...

Left after 5minutes and booked Premier Inn across the road for a cheaper price! Words do not describe how disgusting this place is, do NOT believe their pictures. Room was filled with old junk, broken furniture, litter everywhere at entrance, shower and toilet absolutely disgusting and filthy. Windows don't open and blinds couldn't be raised so trapped in a dark...

The title of the review are the things I enjoyed most about these apartments. I got a good night's sleep and was able to check in at around midnight which was good as travel delays had meant I got there later than I expected. There was a small cooking hob and sink and cups/glasses should I have been able to...

Not clean. Old, dirty and partially broken furniture. After only four days I noted I forgot a pair of trousers and one shirt. Sent a friend, they answered "Thrown away"! Never happened in any other part of the world. Incredible! Send there your worst enemies.

As others have said, nothing wrong with the location, but the apartment we were given was extremely poor for the price we paid. Firstly, we booked a double room and were given two singles pushed together with a huge gap between them. On arrival, we were told that we could be moved to "a different hotel that wasn't as nice...

Ok location is good. My apartment! On the top was bleak bare dirty and I had to sleep on the settee as the mattress had previously been slept in by an elephant. Not equipped as per contract. Moved to first floor next day better but bare light bulbs in ceiling and I wouldn't use the shower ugh. All for 130...

Right in the centre of town, the most expensive part, room was surprisingly cheap. It was spotless, cleaned daily , had all amenities required, staff very helpful. Local supermarket nearby, 3 mins walk, was ideal for food and provisions.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
