As with all the Firmdale hotels I have stayed in. The Charlotte street hotel is lovely! Staff great , rooms lovely and the breakfast was awesome! A definate repeater!! The sister hotels - Soho Hotel and Kensington hotel were both fabulous! Love Love love these hotels! Kit Kemp is so talented with the designs of the rooms!

Thus restaurant and bar is fantastic, you really can't fault the service here and the food and drink are of very high quality. The restaurant does a "dinner and a movie" package which I really would recommend as a different "date night" or a fun evening with girlfriends.

What a delight this hotel is! The very best meet & greet from Sherin on the front desk that made us relax and feel special. The Staff here at this hotel are, without exception, customer focussed and have a 'Can do' attitude. Beautiful individually styled rooms with all those important touches in all the right places! Spotless and perfectly maintained...

Fantastic. Arranged Afternoon Tea for a birthday celebration, they put us in the Library, a private dining area, staff were attentive all day, and the cakes, sandwiches and tea kept on coming. We were also given a complimentary glass of champagne as it was a joint birthday celebration. The cakes and sandwiches were delicious. No doubt we will go back.

Agree with other reviews that it is a great bar with fabulous cocktails but management need to improve consistently slow and inattentive service. I think the good service referred to in other reviews is reserved for the "beautiful people". Otherwise, you need to be patient if you drink here!

Ideal location just off Oxford Street where I met friends for cocktails on a weekday evening. Arrived at 5.45 and just managed to get a table, as by 6.15 the bar was packed. Great cocktail choice albeit expensive (around £12 each) & super friendly service. Complimentary nuts & tap water.

Absolutely fabulous. Came here for my 47th Birthday. Staff could not have been more helpful. Afternoon tea was fabulous - tea, cakes and finger sandwiches. Champagne was an added bonus. One of the best in central London. Will be back without a doubt!!!!!

I had afternoon tea in the Charlotte and cannot recommend them highly enough. The tea, cakes and savouries were delicious and nicely presented, but the highlight was the service, Jonathan, our waiter could not have been more helpful and friendly. If your looking for a unpretentious, but high standard venue for afternoon tea, then this is it.

Popped in for an impromptu visit on a busy Saturday afternoon, & we were immediately welcomed in a very friendly & personable manner as were we were escorted through to the beautifully presented bar area. Opting to sit at the bar we enjoyed a pear Bellini & a rhubarb Bellini; both of which were delicious & very nice presented indeed....

My partner and I ate at a local restaurant on Saturday night. We then had drinks in the hotel bar which was busy with a nice atmosphere. Service was very swift, ,friendly and efficient. There is a wide variety of drinks and cocktails on the menu. We recieved complimentary popcorn with our drinks. I had to return my 1st cocktail...
