We recently stayed here for 4 nights, and would recommend it highly. The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the West End. The rooms are spotless, the beds good, the breakfasts great.

We were very comfortable and impressed with our stay at the Jesmond. For the very reasonable price charged, you couldn't ask for more. The location is excellent with everything you could possibly need a very short walk away. (Pubs, restaurants, supermarket, chemist, Tube station, The British Museum and loads more) The staff are EXCELLENT, very helpful and accomodating. Good breakfast...

My teenage daughter and I spent a couple of nights at The Jesmond and we'll definitely use it again for future stays in London. Lovely hotel in a great location. It was a clean, comfortable hotel with a lovely full breakfast to set us up for the day and friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend...

This hotel is in a great area . Literally walking distance from soho and tube station around the corner. The hotel was very clean and tidy. I would fully not recommend this hotel if your a group of friends. The hotel is more for a family based group. Can not play music past 10pm even though the music was very...

I found Jesmond Hotel like home more than somewhere else in London. We three people traveled in London on April 2016 (yes, it's already near a year ago, and sorry for our late review) and stayed in Jesmond. On the last day of our stay in Jesmond, after we had checked out from the hotel, as we would like to...

I cannot fault this little B&B at all. I booked at quite short notice for a small double ensuite room - when I arrived I was upgraded to a bigger ensuite room, which was exceptionally comfortable (if you are going for a 3-person room I would highly recommend it!!). The staff I encountered were all friendly, welcoming and genuine -...

Great location for the price. Close to many attractions and different public transportation options, so a lot of flexibility for getting around the city. It's also in a nice area; safe, clean and convenient. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean, and the people there were very friendly. The breakfast is great, I looked forward to it every morning! Highly...

We were up two flights and there's no elevator, so if you have climbing issues this is not your place. But otherwise it was great: a short walk to a Tube station, short walk to the British Museum, all of London within your grasp. The bathroom/toilet was up a step and narrow, but that's what you expect when you shoehorn...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
