Located in Kings Cross, this hotel seemed an ideal place to stay for me and my family. We payed £158 for 2 adults and 5 children for one night, split into 2 rooms. On arrival, the place looked 'budget' without a doubt, with the hallway...More
Terrible hotel, not very clean, metal frame beds being held up by blocks of wood, hole in the floor covered by carpet, doors don't fit the frames, Windows all rotten, water takes a lifetime to drain from the sink and that's the good bits!

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky
models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
