I attended the London Art Biennale 2015 where I exhibited my artworks at The Chelsea Town Hall. My wife and I stayed at the Chelsea Cloister in January 2015. We experienced an excellent location, excellent price, and excellent service. The metro station, Piccadilly line from Heathrow Airport is just 4 blocks away from Chelsea Cloisters Jose Herazo-Osorio

When you think of Chelsea you think of luxury residence, sports cars and money and that is what you see as soon as you walk out the reception but these 'serviced apartments' do not belong in Chelsea The exterior is well kept, as is the reception, very spacious and easy access to the lifts and stairs. This is where the...

My girlfriend and I stayed for one night as we visited the museums. We was greeted by a receptionist who didn't know we booked via booking.com she after they found the booking they upgraded us to a one bed apartment from a studio. We are not sure if this is because of lack of ready rooms or because they where...

Stayed here for 5 nights in December. Three adults, one bedroom apartment (no 626). Bedroom was very nice, comfy bed. Not very spacious apartment, but big enough for three adults. Kitchen was tiny but sufficient for our needs, mainly breakfast. Apartment was clean, the only thing was that there was no cleaning, no change of towels or linen during our...

For me the heart of London is South Kensington because that is where I grew up. It used to be cosmopolitan and funky, now it’s still cosmopolitan but also very ritzy. There are so many hotels, you’d expect competition to bring down prices, but there must be even more demand because most if not all hotels are much less good...

It's fair to say Chelsea Cloisters gets a very mixed assortment of reviews, after staying here, I am left wondering what planet those who mark down this accommodation are from. Absolute prime location and unquestionably value for money. It is true the rooms are dated in parts, the wooden floors are worn, but hell, who sleeps on the floor? The...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night just recently. To be honest, the photos we had seen on the website previously were kind of deceiving compared to the room we actually stayed in. The room was outdated and a little shabby, in need of a paint and re-decorating in general. Alongside this, the windows were all single paned,...

Do not be fooled by the reception which is beautiful, clean and modern. The rooms are disgusting and dirty, with stains on the curtains, mould in the bathroom, dirty sides and tables, filthy floors, finger prints and grime on the windows... Just a poor shocking excuse for a room We were also greeted by a big hole on the floor...

We stayed for 4 weeks as we needed a full time base in London. Price for this length of stay was therefore key, and after much searching found that Chelsea Cloister offered a big discount for longer stays, and it was in a great location. The staff were very friendly, and maid service was nice to have every day, and...

I am currently staying at Chelsea Cloisters and unfortunately have another 3 weeks here (which is nonrefundable). I am staying in a studio room which if you happen to be a small billy goat the room will suffice! If however you are a normal sized human being you are going to struggle here (if you have claustrophobia dont bother). The...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
