Very good place to stay if you're up in London to go to Stamford Bridge. The area is very nice and only 10 minutes walk down the Fulham road from Stamford Bridge. The flat was clean and modern and the staff were friendly when I checked in. All in all a good experience.

Getting in from heathrow was so easy as we just took the tube to South Kensington which is 2 minutes walk from Chelsea Cloisters. The accommodation does not come with all the services of a hotel but there was a daily maid service and wifi. All we wanted was a base from which we could explore London and Chelsea cloisters...

definitely the worst place i ever stayed in my life... a very small room, no pressure in the water at the bathtub, the toilet flush wasn't working effectively, the room was poorly lit. round 6 pm i asked for a room transfer, the lady in the office told me i had to come back at 9 am next morning to...

Chelsea Cloisters is located (4-5 blocks) from the South Kensington tube station. It is in a very nice section of London. Unfortunately, the Cloisters has not kept up with the times. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was last updated in the 1960s. The bedroom lampshades looked as if they were found in a trash bin. The floor tiles...

July 2012 - It is what it is. These serviced apartments are a bit old & tired, dont be fooled by the fancy hotel-style foyer. Upon arriving you are ushered away from reception to a back room to 'pay in full' for your booking. This in itself felt a little odd, as it appeared that the payment was to a...

Its not a hotel rather a service apartment. Best part is its centrally located in London very close to Hide Park and Piccadilly. Tube station is just a 5-6minutes walk. Its a basic 3* apartment with average rooms and poor service.

Stayed in 1 bedroom apartment (Rm 519) for 9 nights in Aug, 2 adults 1 child. Read varying reviews and was apprehensive about my booking. Location excellent. Apartment comprised lounge, bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom, everything looked fine and clean on arrival and was. Kitchen small but washing machine/dryer was appreciated, oven clean. If I had to be picky there were a...

After reading other reviews about this hotel I was a bit nervous of what we had let ourselves in for. The double room studio apartment is very small, which I was expecting, but we weren't here to spend time in the room! It was great having a washing machine/tumble dryer and a little kitchenette to make tea/coffee/toast etc. would not...

Stayed a week with 2 adults and a young child. Was expecting worse, but found it to be fine enough for the stay. Close to 2 tube stations and a small supermarket and starbucks. Rooms were small but clean enough, the washer dryer broke down and it took 2 days too long to have it fixed, but was eventually. Street...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
