One star for a great location. Otherwise, there is not much that can be said about a view over a refuse storage area, such close procimity to transport that the roar of trains was a relentless accompaniment and shabby and broken fixtures. Shared my views...More
Have stayed here several times but on arrival, I could not find the check-in area which had been moved (not easy to find). Luckily bumped into a lovely lady who showed me to check-in. Once there staff were pleasant and helpful.

Booked here as love the area but photos are not an honest representation. We booked a one bed apartment and it is spacious but it is also very tired. Only one window opened which was irritating. Floors were warped from obvious flooding problems, the bedding...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest
attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.

You cannot access your room until the afternoon. We arrived at 11am and as I suppose, we had prepaid they allowed us to leave our luggage with them so we could go sight seeing....we came back about 5pm and accessed our room. Be aware there are no lifts. They also allowed us to leave our luggage with them on the departure day as you gave to be out in the morning and we're staying in London until the evening.
