stayed here for one night and we were just looking for a cheap option. Got given one of the rooms that overlooks Earls Court tube line and trains were passing every 60 seconds (almost 24 hours) which was very noisy. Seems like a crazy place to set up a hotel. Staff seemed quite friendly on the few interactions we had...

Tiny room, dirty moquette, unprofessional staff. Noisy room with broken window! trains run just under your room! They ask you for money if you want to leave the luggage for just a few hours. They don t allow visitors so if you want to help your relatives with luggage you can't!!!! I won't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!...

Went here after having being in London a few weeks prior to this and we stayed at the Anwar House which is on the next street and for the same price the Anwar House was so much better. We stayed in room 30 which is facing the train tracks and so every 2 minutes a train goes past which is...

The most terrible room I have ever been in in my life (see pictures). Room 22 is about 1.5 meter from the train tracks which run trains almost continuously about every 2-3 minutes from 4 am to 1 am, so sleep is not an option. I booked based on booking.com and now clearly sanitised reviews and pictures. The location is...

They didn't clean the room right i found some stuffs of old guests in the wardrobe, who knows what else they didn't clean or change... We can hear people form next rooms and on top of us walking. There's a tv but only 50% channels work. But good location though. And it could do if you only stay for a...

Great location I must admit, but I can't quite get over how bad the shower is! The water literally trickles down and it takes 15 minutes to heat up (with the water running).. They also charged my card a cancellation fee (the charge of the an extra night) despite me being at the property!

Couldn't lock the bathroom door. Toilet barely flushed. The room was so warm, that it was impossible to sleep. On the plus side, the room was clean, and the hotel is very close to public transportation.

I knew check in was 13;30hrs but when I arrived early 11;00hrs, they wouldn't let me leave my bags in storage so walked around London for 2.5 hours with my bags. When I did check in and when to my room, there was someone already asleep in the bed, so I had to get a new room. The decor is...

We stayed for one night while seeing a show. Our room was miniscule, and was right next to the railway line - trains ran most of the night. The shower was filthy, the handle fell off the toilet every time you flushed it, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and there was no bedside light (although to be fair, the room...

Do not book this Hotel through any sites that require you to give them your credit card details.Overcharging, not refunding money.( I believe I am not the first complaint) So if you are fronting up with cash all good. Shame because it was a good location and the price for what you got was what you would expect.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
