It was hard to move past the smell of urine when we entered the property, but got worse with keys not working and trying to sleep with the TV in the next room as clear as in our room, after arriving off a long international flight it was disappointing to say the least. Good points...location and styled interiors.

Ended up in Ladbroke Grove after a day in London with friends and we decided to have an early supper at Portobello House. We enjoyed a friendly welcome and delicious freshly cooked food and well presented food. Good service and unrushed to enjoy our leisurely meal. Perfect!

Small, but stylish, cozy and really nice hotel, only a few steps from Portobello Road. Easy access to the tube and buses. The room was very nice, comfy beds, the wifi ok, and the bathroom among the better ones we've seen. Breakfast was tasty, and we enjoyed the restaurant on the ground floor in which it was served. Good value...

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Portobello House for two nights. We found the accommodations to be very comfortable. The room was small, but it was perfectly adequate for us. There was bottled water provided in the room and a espresso machine---much appreciated for our day of sightseeing. The breakfast included in the restaurant below was ample. There...

Very conveniently prized bar with lovely decor and in great location- just minutes away from portobello market. I had my birthday gathering there and was very happy with chosen venue as the service was outstanding. I pre booked the place and was offered the area with sofas which was ideal. The Portobello House's manager was very kind as he took...

I arrived early and the room wasn't ready, but the man who was checking me in took my bag to the room. When I returned my room was a bit warm and I couldn't figure out how to work the remote to get the room cooler. A member of staff showed me how to operate the remote and about 10...

I liked this place so much that even when I had the opportunity to move to a friend's apartment (read: free place to stay in a swanky neighborhood), I chose to remain here! That's about as good as it gets. First, those of us who have sticker-shock with London hotel prices are in for a pleasant surprise. Usually "reasonable rate"...

We had booked into another establishment - it would not be fair to say where at this stage - and were disappointed at what we found . However a short call to the Portobello House, a 5 minutes taxi ride and the welcome received was excellent. Our room was small but very well equipped and clean and the bed very...
