We absolutely love it at the Georgian, beautiful bar & restaurant with lovely well sized garden. Staff are friendly & attentive and the food is delicious! Perfect for families with an outside as well as an indoor play area. Couldn't recommend here more if we tried!

A bit of an "In Place" with locals coming in for tea, coffees etc and even a portioned off play are for the Kiddies. Therefore suitable for young Mums. Nice welcome when we arrived and the attentive and friendly staff were a delight. Our room, number 2, was on the first floor meaning stairs to navigate. However, once inside the...

We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. The room was beautifully decorated and with great amenities. The bathroom was plush and had the toiletries provided were nice. We had drinks in the bar and I was impressed by the gin selection. The breakfast was very nice: a small buffet of fruit, pastries, yogurts etc, and then a...

This is a very lovely venue - bright and airy with amazing helpful staff. The only bug bear is the fact that the drinks are really pricey. I know nowadays that when going for a meal etc this is the way it is but they just seem to be a bit off the scale. The food is really nice and...

Booked with my partner for a weekend away from home, and what a find. Gorgeous building with perfectly designed rooms. The bathroom was beautiful, with both a shower and a bath. SMEG fridge with fresh milk and mini bar, was a nice touch. Kettle and nespresso machine. Shame the bed was just two singles pushed together, I found my self...

Location perfect. Rooms quirky, modern, good size. Beds comfortable.Food great. Only downside is the cleaning, it's not bad, just a little bit lax in places. The carpet on the stairs to the room needs a thorough deep clean and the walls need a coat of paint. It puts you off a little until you get to the rooms, which are...

This is an excellent base for visiting Nowich town centre as we found everything within easy walking distance. We stayed in room 15 at the front and centre of the hotel above the restaurant. The room faced the car park and road but we didn't notice any traffic noise. We dropped into the bar for a drink and sat outside...

This is our hotel review page. If you would like to review the restaurant please visit The Georgian Townhouse Restaurant. Many thanks :) It's about far more than a coat of paint... At The Georgian Townhouse - or TGT as we like to call it - we've created a little hidden city oasis where you come to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Combine 'Georgian' - yet funky modern - interior design with an enormous walled garden, loads of locally sourced quality produce, exciting and evolving seasonal menus, a collection of heritage cooking methods, some stylish and versatile function rooms, an interesting mix of craft beers, wines and spirits, and you begin to envisage TGT: seamlessly merging Georgian charm with a modern offbeat attitude, lashings of style, an abundance of personality. This is a corner where everything is just right. Rooms now open - See you soon! ... more   less
