Wonderful weekend stay for the Fletcher wedding. Room was comfortable, food and service were good. Fantastic setting and beautiful grounds. Hotel has great character and a cosy feel about it. Found the staff attentive and helpful. Definitely be back!

My parents and I last stayed here around 9 years ago, and when had our recent trip to Norwich earlier this month, we decided to go down memory lane by staying in this hotel again. We were very pleased to discover it was as lovely as we remembered! Staff were friendly and the food was fantastic. I even had an...

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings, very welcoming staff, rooms with individuality, relaxed environment, good food, easy access to Norwich and to the countryside for short or long walks. I stayed for a long period of time and was made to feel very comfortable, much better and less expensive than staying in a chain hotel. Old fashioned gentle charm.

Found the hotel online at the last minute for a business trip to Norwich, pictures and reviews seemed fine. From arrival I was given a warm welcome at reception, my room was excellent with 4 poster bed and period furniture. it is an old building so do not expect modern clean lines, I had a mad thought of 'what if'...

This is a hotel with plenty of character which appeals to those looking to avoid the sterile trappings of the local Travellodge or Holiday Inn. We received excellent service during our stay - in particular the attention which went into ensuring our evening meal was perfect was commendable. Highly recommended.

We stayed on a 2 night midweek stay in the bridal suite for a special break and although the jacuzzi was amazing and huge the rest of the room let it down due to being so dated and a bit dirty! Windows were black and mouldy on the inside. The bathroom upstairs was ok but toilet did not flush very...

I loved the location, old building and 4 poster bed and appreciate the fact that this hotel is not corporately dull, yes its a little tired looking but suits the place. What I did find odd and exceedingly tight was the very sparse hot drink facilities (perhaps caistor hall is still on war rations?) and also the breakfast. The selection...

We used this hotel for a 3 night stay whilst visiting relatives in the area. We booked direct via the internet at £249 for bed and breakfast. The hotel is a little bit out of the way but we did use the local bus service which stops right outside the hotel and only takes 10 minutes to get to Norwich...
