I really rate this place! The rooms are fantastic. Amazing restaurant below and overlooking the harbor. What more can you ask for? Maybe slightly cheaper ! It's good quality and I would recommend this hotel especially to newbie couples!....

Stayed in Room 1 on 26th June, we'll what can I say, perfect stay from start to finish. Lovely balcony with spectacular views of Whitby. Meal in restaurant was top class and the service was second to none. Coffees were brought to the room quicker than boiling a kettle and delicious lattes as well. Staff were so polite and attentive...

Loved this hotel. Funky, spacious rooms, large bathrooms and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We had very decent cocktails and an excellent meal whilst staying here and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Stayed here for two nights. From check in to check out the service was fantastic. The room is large and well equipped. The view from the bathroom over the river and towards the church and abbey is lovely. There are no tea/coffee making facilities but you can ring down and they bring it to your room within seconds it seemed!...

We stayed in room 1, which has its own integral sun room, and loved the views over the busy little harbour to St Mary's church and the Abbey ruins. The breakfasts were delicious, with a wide variety of cooked items to choose from in addition to the usual cold fare of cereals, fruits and yogurts. We also had dinner in...

I hate the adjective "boutique" but this is one of those small old places that has been very stylishly done up as a small contemporary hotel with great, relaxed dining and small bar area. The staff were great, the food, dominantly fish, were fantastic (we had freshly caught lobster) and the wine list was surprisingly eclectic and well priced. We...

Visited for my birthday, quite last minute and with so many good reviews was surprised to get a room. Not disappointed at all! Lovely, large airy room, tastefully furnished with luxuriously large freestanding bath to soak in after the journey. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Food in the restaurant was delicious ... I...

I stayed in Room Two, which has wonderful views over the harbour, but it is a working harbour so be prepared for the sound of gulls, boats and fishermen in the early morning. I was prepared for all these, but I was not prepared for the loud hum of the extractor fan and the clattering noise from the hotel kitchen...

I have very mixed feelings about our recent stay at this hotel. We stayed in room number 3 for two nights over the weekend. The room itself was immaculately clean and the decor was trendy and modern and on first glance we were extremely pleased with our choice. However there were no tea or coffee facilities. The member of staff...
